2 Data Processing

Fit By Sonic use the following methods to collect and process your personal (that can identify you) and sensitive (related to your health) data.

2.1 Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PAR-Q) Form

The PAR-Q form contains personal (name, email address, contact details, next of kin) and sensitive (health status) data. The lawful ground to process this data is legal obligation. The data is processed to ensure it is safe for you to participate in the fitness program and as a requirement of our public liability insurance.

If you do not complete a PAR-Q form you will not be able to participate in any of our fitness programs.

2.2 Website

The Fit By Sonic website may collect personal (contact details, IP address) data. The lawful ground for processing this data is legitimate interest. The data is processed to answer questions and to improve the performance of the website.

2.3 Email Newsletter

Fit By Sonic send out occasional email newsletters containing information about changes to the class schedule (cancelled classes, new classes) and other information we believe may be of interest. The lawful ground for processing this data is legitimate interest. We want you to know when classes have been cancelled.

2.4 Other Processing

Third parties who provide services to Fit By Sonic (e.g IT, Legal, Accounting, Insurance) are required to be GDPR compliant and may process personal data only on our instructions.

Personal data may be disclosed to other health and fitness professionals to discuss your fitness regime and well-being.

Personal data may be shared with third parties who acquire some or all of Fit By Sonic.

We do not share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes except with your specific consent.
